October?

Come on... it can't be! I was going to update my blog and - poof! - it's OCTOBER. I've got SEVEN weddings this month. I'll update something about them in a week or so. Booking 2013 slowly but surely. November is shaping up to be a "catch my breath" month, a busy December, and then 2013. I can't believe it...

OK - it's been a wild a crazy spring/summer. I've got my old website back - www.clausmartel.com and my old email back. I've been SO BAD about posting updates. I promise I will... soon!!

Chaos and Creation in the Backyard...

I'll make a LONG story short. Six years ago when I went looking for someone to host my website, Microsoft had this killer deal. I figured "Who can be any more reliable than Microsoft?" WRONG! They decided to get OUT of the web hosting business and left me and thousands more without a web home AND decided to transfer responsibility of the domain names to the most irresponsible domain name registrar on the planet, a company out of Australia named "Melbourne IT." So I lost my website name, my email address... everything. I'm back on the web in a limited capacity at www.clausrmartel.com. Some would say "well that's your OLD address!" Nope. Read that URL carefully - www.clausRmartel.com. So - I'm trying to contact my current clients as well as new potential clients to the name change. No fun...

Love repeats...

Seriously - there's nothing better than shooting a wedding where you know your clients from a previous shoot. I had that privilege recently with the Wathan and Carlile families. I've know both for a number of years... the Wathan family for almost a decade. Just so blessed that both families asked me again!

February Weddings

Just finished two weddings this month - one in Birmingham and one in Tuscaloosa. Enjoyed them both! Two weeks off and then the marathon begins!

Ready for 2012!

I'm ready for 2012! I had wonderful weddings throughout 2011 and I want to again thank all of my wonderful clients and the terrific feedback I've received.

Looking forward to starting my 2012 wedding season in a few weeks. There are a few early spring and late summer dates still open.
